PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy of training and handling cattle dogs and sheep dogs begins and ends with stockmanship. By that I mean developing a low-stress environment for handling all stock. Low stress for the dog, low stress for the stock, and, yes, low stress for the handler.

It is all centered around the partnership I create with my dog. Having a good balanced relationship based on trust, discipline, and teamwork is the key to establishing a good work ethic.Treat your dog with respect and patience while teaching him the job he was bred for will go a long way in creating that low-stress atmosphere and will give your dog the best, most fulfilling, most productive life possible.
